What results were seen in clinical trials?

In the phase two clinical trial of Dapoxetine, the efficacy and safety of 60mg and 100mg dosages were tested against placebo for the treatment of premature ejaculation among men. The results of the trial showed that use of Dapoxetine increased the intravaginal ejaculatory latency time (IELT) for both the 60mg and 100mg doses when compared to placebo. After 12 weeks of study, the trial researchers found that ejaculation time was 1.75 minutes among the placebo, 2.78 minutes for subject taking 30mg of Dapoxetine and 3.32 minutes for subjects taking 60mg of Dapoxetine.
